वूशु खेल संघ अशोकनगर। 2006 से अब तक हमारे खिलाड़ी 1600 से अधिक राज्य पदक और 190 से अधिक राष्ट्रीय पदक जीत चुके हैं, और 22 खिलाड़ी शासकीय सेवा में चयनित हुए हैं।
Wushu Sport Association of Ashoknagar. Since 2006 our athletes have won over 1,600 state medals and more than 190 national medals, and 22 of them have been selected into government service.

Medals matter, but this is where the real difference shows. These Ashoknagar athletes went on to permanent jobs and professional careers, through the sports quota and their own hard work.

Under his farsighted stewardship, Ashoknagar's wushu athletes have carried the town's name across India and abroad. He has received the Rashtriya Utkrishtata Gaurav Puraskar for outstanding work in sport, and the district administration has felicitated him three times on national days.

खेल के बारे मेंAbout the sport
वूशु चीन से आया मार्शल आर्ट है, जो आज दुनिया भर में प्रतिस्पर्धी खेल के रूप में खेला जाता है। इसकी दो मुख्य विधाएँ हैं — ताओलू और सांडा। अशोकनगर में दोनों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है।
Wushu is a martial art from China, today contested as a competitive sport worldwide. It has two main disciplines — taolu and sanda. Both are taught in Ashoknagar.
निर्धारित मुद्राओं और गतियों का क्रम, अकेले प्रस्तुत किया जाता है — खाली हाथ या हथियार (तलवार, भाला, स्टाफ़) के साथ। अंक गति, संतुलन, ऊँचाई और सटीकता पर मिलते हैं, जैसे जिमनास्टिक्स में।
A set sequence of stances and movements performed solo — barehand or with a weapon (sword, spear, staff). Scored on speed, balance, height and precision, much like gymnastics.
दो खिलाड़ियों के बीच मैट पर मुक़ाबला — पंच, किक और थ्रो। ग्लव्स, हेडगार्ड, चेस्ट गार्ड और माउथ गार्ड अनिवार्य हैं; भार वर्ग और आयु वर्ग अलग-अलग होते हैं और रेफ़री हर राउंड पर नज़र रखते हैं।
Two athletes on the mat — punches, kicks and throws. Gloves, headguard, chest guard and mouthguard are compulsory; bouts are divided by weight and age category with referees on every round.
